Walking in the game or living in the WORD - Part 2

You know I have been saying this for quite some time and I’ve been asking people this question: since when did Jesus say, “I can’t heal the blind, I can’t heal somebody in pain, I can’t resurrect somebody, or I can’t raise the paralytic because they haven’t paid me my tithe”? Look at all the stuff that’s going on in what I called the game. They prey on Christians as some will listen to them and others will rebuke them and cast them out. They are playing the game to see how much more money they can take away from the so-called believers of Christ. We should be the Christians, the believers, the ones that are willing to step back and say, “Wait a second. That’s not what Jesus did and that’s not what God has said to do”.

I want to share something personal with you. The other night I was out at one of our meetings and somebody was sharing with me how they were being respectful of people because they want to social distance. They started telling me that they did not want to say hi to people and they don’t want to hug anyone or don’t want to do what we normally do. I was in shock as I will not now or ever cast judgment on anyone as I saw them backsliding and not trusting God to be the healer and protection from this virus. When did we, in our walks, become so world-oriented rather than listen to what God has given us? He has given us the authority to trample over scorpions and serpents, to heal the sick, and to raise the paralyzed!

Luke 10:19 – “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you”

I want to ask you why would you allow something that the world is telling you not to do anymore and to allow that to become the truth in your life? People ask me why I am not scared, why I do not realize that this could affect me, or why are you not worried about anything? I have been saying this since I truly committed my life to God. I get my hands and I turn them over palm side up and I’ll look at them and I say I have a Holy Spirit coming out of me who do you have coming out of you?

These questions come from people that claim to be true Christians. They claim to know God and claim to walk with God. If you trusted God, why then would you question God? Think about how many times in our lives have we listened to what is going on in the media, how we are being told what to listen to and believe, what we are being told on social media, and we have been lied to by the government. We may have even been miss lead by family, friends, work, or worst of all by the Church.

I am old enough to realize the truth in Luke 10:19 - the authority that God has given me that I can go out and I can trample on the scorpions on the serpents and that I can heal the sick and that I can raise the paralytic. That I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me so that I can perform what God has given to me.

Why should I be in any kind of fear with anything that is going on in the world as I will not play the game of the world but TRUST IN GOD!

In my last message, I shared with you all what had to do with fear. I will say again that a lot of everything that is going on has to deal with how people fear and now how people are quick to dismiss our true healer and provider.

I want to give you an example of this game that is going on in the world. The United Nations wants to say that because there is too much prejudice there are too many unloved people and religions, they want to create a one-world religion where everybody is loved. Can you truly listen to this blasphemy against God? Guess what?! That religion already exists and is called Christianity. They will not say the true part of what they want to shove down on us which is other religions and what they practice. This is not God they are referring to and is the biggest game they are trying to get everyone to play. Remember up above when I mentioned the lowercase god's. They want us to follow them which leads us to Satan.

God is clear on his word he tells us how to live: one woman, one man. You are to leave your parents to become one for God for the kingdom as husband and wife:

Genesis 2:24 – “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”

Ephesians 5:31–33 - “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. 32 This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33 However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.”

I ask you to STOP playing games and put God in the center of your relationship having God involved in everything that you do. Do not say to God to come into the house but please only stay in the front room, the kitchen, or to sit on the sofa and you will take care of everything else. We are not to live by those rules or actions. This is not what God says as he’s clear in scripture and tells you it’s better to be hot or cold than to be lukewarm:

Revelation 3:15–20 – “I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me.”

Do you know what does that means? Have you ever really looked at that and thought about what that scripture is saying? Have you ever really thought about what God tells us in a lot of scripture and have you spent time researching and looking at everything in-depth? Think about everything that has been spoken through scripture and everything that he has shared with us.

I’m not judging anybody and I’m not saying that I do more than anyone else. I am not calling myself holier than thou because I am not. None of us can say that as there was only one true person that lived a blameless life, it was Jesus Christ.

Do you look at people and they say that they do good or even say that I am doing good work? I will give money to a charity, say hi to the people that are begging on the streets, or I may give them all of the loose change I have and think that those are good actions. What more can you do?

Matthew 19:21-30 - “Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. 23 And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 27 Then Peter said in reply, “See, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?” 28 Jesus said to them, “Truly, I say to you, in the new world, when the Son of Man will sit on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life. 30 But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Did Jesus do anything wrong or withhold while he was here on earth? Did Jesus put a limit to what he would do or what he could do? He prayed about it and was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus spoke with our Father to come over him and to guide him to lead him. There are many people in this world right now tottering back-and-forth believing in God, not believe in God, or better yet calling on God when they need something.

I have been out of work for a few months and one of my daily prayers is for God to bless us spiritually, mentally, financially, physically, and most of all I still pray the same thing that I do every day and that is for the protection of my family and my loved ones. My wife and I pray daily for everyone that we know and that we have in our prayer books. I want you to know we may not always know if you need prayer but the Holy Spirit will lead us to pray for you as you. Do not ever be ashamed to ask for prayer.

Ask yourself if your children mirror the image of what is in Scripture or what you do as an adult or parent? I always say that as for me and my family we serve the Lord. You may be thinking that Christians don't have any issues but I am here to tell you that we all have issues. I will say yes everyone has issues and nobody is perfect.

I feel like I’m repeating myself on things but these are true questions that have been placed on my heart. You have to look at everything from the outside and everything from the inside. What I mean by that is you are being blessed with everything that you do. We have to remember one thing and that is that God works in his time, not ours. You can speak to people and they may know the word, they may pray over you, or ask you to pray over their family. You can pray for people at church and when you speak to them it is like they are in a rush. Do not limit anything that the Holy Spirit has put on your heart. The ones in a rush always seem to ask God did you forget about me because you haven’t healed me yet, you haven’t financially provided for me, why haven’t you given me a new job, you haven’t gotten me into a relationship, you haven’t help me out in school. Hey, people! It is pretty clear if you have not figured it out by now God does not work on our time he works on his timing whether we see it or not. Remember that GOD is always working. We do not know when that time, place, or relationship is going to come, or even when the new job is going to come but I ask you to leave it in God's hands and trust him. Will you pray daily and seek him daily?

In the same way that we need to ask God to come in and lead us we also need to give God the glory and say God I give you everything. I give you my finances, I give you my job, I give you my life, I give you everything so that my house may be used for the kingdom. I give you everything because nothing that I have is mine.

Matthew 6:19-20 - “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Why do we then think if we get buried with some of our worldly possessions that they will be able to be taken up to heaven? Do you not know that the riches in our eternal life will be with God? Jesus has already died for us and if we walk the narrow path and we continue to live by the word we can trust that we are in the book of life. Repent and release everything and know that Jesus did all this so that we can without a shadow of a doubt know that God has said that he knows my name.

I tell you that the eternal glory, the eternal riches that he will give us are beyond our wildest beliefs. Why do we want to put a limit on that? People have said, well God was never with me when I was building my business, God was never with me when I was first married, or even now when I am on my 20th. Or when I made my major-league debut or when I made my NFL career. I ask you how can you honestly say that God was never with you? Think about your past and think of that instance where you were at a party, you may have been at a bar, you may have been with your parents and somebody ran a red light and almost hit you or maybe you were in that accident but you walked out without any issues. Have you ever been severely ill and the doctors said you were not going to live but guess what, you’re walking around right now? GOD is always with you so start living in the WORD of GOD and not in the world. Let God lead you in everything and stop playing the game of life. Trust in him who created you in your mother's womb.

I give you all the glory father God and thank you for sending the Holy Spirit over me to put this message together.
