Justification

Just a few days ago, I was having a difficult time and started to question myself and everything I was doing. It took me a bit to realize that Satan was messing with me and I had to get back into the Word and listen to worship music as I know God is in control of everything. It always seems that when you are in the presence of the Holy Spirit you will have a wonderful day, but then here comes the enemy to try and ruin it. The evil one that can't listen to our thoughts or hearts will stop short of nothing to try and take us out of the grace of God. The one thing that Satan can do is whisper bad thoughts or emotions towards you and see if you bite. One thing we must always do in this time is to tell him "I rebuke you Satan in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!" You have no authority over me or my household. Continued prayer and rebuking will not give him any foothold in your life. I want to pray a blessing and a hedge of protection over everyone reading this now as I know the enemy will try and turn you from reading this or try to mess with your day. He will not only come after one of us but he is trying to come for all of us. The reason the enemy will do this is to keep us from advancing in our walks with our Father God.Ā

I wanted to share the word Justification with you as it is important.Ā

This is Merriam-Webster's definition of Justification (pronounced jus tih fih KAY shun):
The act or an instance of justifying something; VINDICATIONĀ arguments offered in justification of their choice. An acceptable reason for doing something; something that justifies an act or way of behaving. Example: ā€œHe could provide no justification for his decisionā€

Looking at it through the eyes of a Christian: Justification means to set something right or to declare righteousness. In Christianity, Jesus Christ - the sinless, perfect sacrifice - died in our place, taking the punishment we deserve for our sins. In turn, sinners who believe in Christ as their Savior are justified by God the Father.Ā

We as humans could not pay the price for our sins even if we wanted to. When we are born, we have a pure heart but as we get older, we are tainted by sin.

Understanding the meaning of justification brings peace to our hearts. When God declares the believing sinner righteous in Christ, that declaration never changes. Our Christian experience changes from day to day, but justification never changes. We may accuse ourselves and men may accuse us, but God will never take us to court and accuse us. Jesus has already paid the penalty and we are secure in Him.

To begin with, God does not shelter us from the difficulties of life because we need them for our spiritual growth.Ā

InĀ Romans 5:3-5Ā it is clear.
ā€œNot only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because Godā€™s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.ā€

Romans 8:28Ā ā€“ ā€œAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purposeā€

God assures us that the difficulties of life are working for us and not against us. God allows these trials to come against us so that we might use them for our good and His glory. Remember our walks are to mature and grow daily. I know people that want this to happen overnight but that is what our flesh wants and not what God wants for us. We must take the baby steps before we learn how to run.Ā
Ā
We endure trials for His sake:

Romans 8:36 ā€“ ā€œAs it is written: For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughteredā€Ā

If you think about what you just read, do you think that God will ever leave us or forsake us?Ā

Hebrews 16:5-6 ā€“ ā€œLet yourĀ conductĀ beĀ without covetousness;Ā beĀ content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, ā€œI will never leave you nor forsake you.ā€ 6 So we may boldly say: ā€œThe LordĀ isĀ my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?ā€

God has never left us but He has given us more than we know or want to know. We must all remember not to fear life or death because Jesus Christ loves us and gives us victory. His word does not say that he will promise with any conditions attached: ā€œIf you do this, God will do that.ā€ We must all claim what God has given us because we are with him. Nothing can separate you from God's love as it is eternal! Believe in what the Word says and rejoice in it!

When we start our walk as a believer in Christ or have been walking with our faith for some time, we will have to overcome times of suffering and trial because these are life lessons and we must always remember that God is at work and that He has a perfect plan.Ā

God has two purposes in that plan: our good and His glory. Ultimately, He will make us like Jesus Christ! Best of all, Godā€™s plan is going to succeed!Ā

Ephesians 1:4-5 ā€“ ā€œjust as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His willā€

God has been telling us that one day we would be like His Son. We are His children, and we are called by Him. When we read Scripture, we can either choose to read it and accept it or turn our hearts away from the truth. If we live by it, accept it, and know God is with us, we can live a life full of joy, love, peace. But if we choose to turn away, we can look at it as being condemned, it is because we refused to trust Christ

John 3:18ā€“21Ā - ā€œHe who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.ā€

Those whom He chose, He called:

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 ā€“ ā€œBut we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as first fruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.ā€

What does this scripture mean for us? This means that you as a believer have already been glorified in Christ. John 17:22 - ā€œAnd the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one.ā€

Romans 8:21ā€“23 ā€“ ā€œbecause the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. 23 Not onlyĀ that,Ā but we also who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our bodyā€

Romans 8:31ā€“39 ā€“ ā€œWhat then shall we say to these things? If GodĀ isĀ for us, whoĀ can beĀ against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against Godā€™s elect?Ā It isĀ God who justifies. 34 WhoĀ isĀ he who condemns?Ā It isĀ Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?Ā ShallĀ tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: ā€œFor Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.ā€ 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.ā€

There is no condemnation because we share the righteousness of God and the Law of Man cannot condemn us. There is no obligation because we have the Spirit of God who enables us to overcome the flesh and live for God. Do not let the enemy bring frustration, disbelief, sorrow, depression, anxiety, or darkness because we share the glory of God, knowing that one day Christ shall return.Ā

No separation can come between you and God because we are always experiencing the love of God: ā€œWhat shall separate us from the love of Christ?ā€

Romans 8:35 ā€“ ā€œWho shall separate us from the love of Christ?Ā ShallĀ tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?ā€

Ā The emphasis in this final section is on the security of the believer. We do not need to fear the past, present, or future because we are secure in the love of Christ. Paul presented five arguments to prove that there could be no separation between the believer and the Lord.

Through all this message I have been trying to let you know that "The Father, our one and only God, is for us and proved it by allowing His Son Jesus Christ to go through trials to pay for our way to see our Father and have the eternal gift of life for eternity.Ā

Romans 8:32 ā€“ ā€œHe who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?ā€

Romans 8:34 ā€“ ā€œWhoĀ isĀ he who condemns?Ā It isĀ Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.ā€

Romans 8:26 ā€“ ā€œLikewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.ā€

If we look at everything, we can always say in the good and the bad ā€œIf God is for us, who can be against us?ā€

Romans 8:31 ā€“ ā€œWhat then shall we say to these things? If GodĀ isĀ for us, whoĀ can beĀ against us?ā€

Think about your day before you get started and realize that you need to leave it in God's hands and know before your day starts that God is for each one of us. There is no need to fear, for God only desires the best for all His children. People always say, ā€œWhy God? Why did you let this happen? Why did I lose my job? Why did that person pass away?ā€ I want you to know that even if you go through trials you will be tested in your faith just as Jesus was and we will receive God's best if we are truthful and faithful with everything.Ā

Jeremiah 29:11 ā€“ ā€œFor I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.ā€

Live in Him and He will always fill us, feed our hunger, quench our thirst and always keep His hand over us. God, everything is yours.

I am surrounded by the arms of the Father. He is faithful on everything, and He blesses us with everlasting LOVE. He keeps our hearts whole. He is everlasting and is always with us. His love is eternal as is the burning flame. Let the blessing, your walk, and life be fully committed to Him and serve the kingdom. Seek eternal life and not the flesh. Satan will always come at us from every direction but wear the full armor and know that God is at our side with His army. We stand at the front lines and go courageously into the dark to fight for the kingdom. I love you, Lord!
