Fear

The question of fear is something I’ve been asking myself a lot lately. I still wonder why and how we allowed fear to come in when it is not of God. I’ll look at a lot of the people all around me that are all believers. I want to be clear that some of these people are very close to me and others are friends, but all see themselves as Christians. The ones that you consider close to you that you have no problem with having a meal with, hanging out, walking, or talking with. Some are family and extended family members that allowed some form of fear to come in because of this man-made make-believe virus. Yes, there is a virus but it’s not all that they intended it to be this was a man-made virus that was released to the public for agendas that will be covered at another time. The question that I ask is, "Why is it that we as believers know that fear is not of God but we have allowed coming in?" I look at people within our church family, people within our groups, people within our families that haven’t left their places or are afraid to go out without their mask or gloves, are afraid to give people hugs, and shake hands. The thing that almost everyone in the world forgot that this is only a word. This word is the virus! When did everyone forget our bodies were created by God to combat viruses but yet when we wear a mask or gloves our bodies cannot fight something off that our immune systems were created to fight.

Our bodies cannot battle it the same way that we expect God to fight stuff if we don’t allow him to fight the battles for us and we try to fight them on our own. Scripture clearly says, "With him is an arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles" - Chronicles 32:8

The Word covers the topic of fear in multiple places. Here are just a few scriptures that speak the truth about fear and why it is not of God.

2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

Psalm 34:42 - "I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears."

1 John 2:15 - "Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you."

Joshua 1:19 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

When you take up the challenge of walking with God, you must walk the narrow path, not the broad path.

Matthew 7:13-14 - “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

John 14:6 - "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Matthew 7:21-23 - “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’"

People, look at everything you are believing in over God. Why have we allowed the news, media, social media, television, and newspapers to dictate how we are supposed to be walking and living? Once we continue on this path, the governor or mayor of any city will shut everything down because of fear and they can threaten to shut down the church because there will be massive spikes at the church. If we all truly walk with God then no fear comes into the house of God. Think about that.

I will say that yet they have rallies or gatherings and they don’t require them to wear a mask or gloves. How is it that a house of God would cause people to get sick when we do not walk by fear?

God has called us to:

James 5:14-16 - "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working."

Mark 16:17-18 - "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name, they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

John 14:12 - “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do, and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father."

Hebrews 13:8 - "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

God is the only one that takes care of us. God is our provider! God is our healer! Our joy, our love, our happiness comes from him, not from men. We have to remember that God sent his only son Jesus Christ, Yeshua, for the biggest trial and tribulation, mockery, and ridicule that not one of us would have endured.

John 3:16 - “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus endured the 40 days and 40 nights of the multiple attacks that came against him but he knew what his purpose was in life and that was to save our souls so we would join him in the kingdom by going through him to meet the father.

Matthew 4:1, 3-11 - 'Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted there by the devil. During that time the devil came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become loaves of bread.” But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Then the devil took him to the holy city, Jerusalem, to the highest point of the Temple, and said, “If you are the Son of God, jump off! For the Scriptures say, ‘He will order his angels to protect you. And they will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.’ ” Jesus responded, “The Scriptures also say, ‘You must not test the Lord your God.’ Next, the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him. Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus.'

I want to ask you if you have thought about this when you go to a restaurant and they tell you to wear a mask from the door to your table. Why is it now that you can take it off as soon as you sit down? What virus do you know that takes a time out when you’re sitting down at a table or talking, drinking, or eating something? We have to remember as Christians we do not need to open doors to Satan, we have to remember that everything that we do is if God were next to us and he’s always with us. I want you to know that he doesn’t leave us, he's always by our side.

Deuteronomy 31:8 -"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

But yet, we manage to push God out of the equation. We push him so far out because of all the things that we’ve allowed to come into our hearts and our minds that are not of God or for God. Why is it that we say we know the word, we can read scripture, we can quote scripture, we can talk to a non-believer that we’re trying to feed life into by the word of God but yet we are living in fear?

The first time I was asked, "Why don’t you wear a mask or gloves? Are you not afraid?" I turned my palms over and I said, "I walk with God, I have the Holy Spirit coming out of me. Who do you have coming out of you?" The response I got was, "We have to be wise because there’s a virus out there that is coming against us."

True, there is a virus but God is my healer and God is my provider. Why am I going to be afraid of a virus? Any virus can come from many different ways like a stomach bug, the flu, and multiple things like that. Yet when do you recall that they shut the city down and they want to quarantine everybody? When do they stop things that people are doing like working, going out, shopping, family gatherings because of the flu or stomach bug? I have never heard of that in my life and had to look it up to see if it had ever been done, and the answer is NO.

Now, all of a sudden you have people that are computer developers, you have doctors that are so-called proclaimed subject matter experts to lead the nation of the world, and yeah they’re telling you a different story. That their way is the only way! These are lies and them pushing the fear factor into your minds. Why hasn’t our president stood up and said they’re not dictating anything because they don’t run the country? God appoints our presidents whether you wanna believe it or not. God has a hand in everything that goes on in the United States but the bad thing is that the entire world has pushed God out of everything and that is a part that we need to remember as Christians to come together and call the name of Jesus to call God to call the Holy Spirit to come down again.

Why can’t we do that? Why are people so afraid to do that? I saw the news the other day and I don’t pay much attention to what’s going on the news anymore because I know it’s all lies but I saw that the UK has signage on their buses, on their buildings, and people are walking around that they don’t need God. They have been told LIES that they can still get into heaven no matter what they have done and continue to do. I’m sorry people you can believe what you wanna believe but the word is clear the father says the only way to get to our father we must go through Jesus. We must be walking the narrow path and we can’t be living in two worlds. Many people are trying to say that we’re doing good, living good lives, and we’re doing kingdom work. We either walk with God or we don’t! Scripture clearly says do not be Lukewarm it is better to be hot or cold.

Revelation 3:15-16 - "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

John 2:15-16 - "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world."

Titus 1:16 - "They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for doing anything good."

Matthew 7:21-23 - "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

Luke 6:46 -"Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?

People, living in sin and saying you are a Christian is not correct! We must leave all the worldly things, the flesh part of our lives, and turn to God. Renounce the wrong and leave it at God's feet. Do not try and live two separate lives and say you are good in the world and live for the day that God says he knows your name. People often think that just because they were saved at a young age and even baptized that they are ok and continue to live in sin. God sent his one and only son to die for our sins. This does not mean that you can continue to commit sins daily and think that it is ok. The lies that some of the big churches and religions have told you are not RIGHT. Seek the word of God and get into the scripture as God has told us to do. If you are ready to do this you can repeat these simple words.

Father God, I renounce all of my sins, my faulty life, my dual relationship with you and the world. I leave that at your feet and ask you to come into my life. I open my door, my heart, my eyes, my mind to you Lord. I give you everything in my life as you have given me everything. I let everything go that is not of you and ask you to take over. I leave the world and want to only walk with you. I am a sinner and ask for your forgiveness. I will not look back and ask you to convict me if I try to backslide. Keep me walking the narrow as I want to live for you. I give my life to doing your work. Come in father God and take control.

LIVE FOR GOD! LIVE TO SERVE THE KINGDOM! LIVE TO FIGHT THE DARKNESS AND THE FEAR! LIVE TO KNOW THAT YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD! NEVER BACK DOWN AS YOU ARE WITH OUR FATHER AND AN ARMY OF WARRIORS IN THE KINGDOM!
